2017 – 2018 School Year PTO Board of Officers

The PTO Board welcomes your comments and suggestions and is available to answer any questions you may have concerning the PTO, its committees, and events. Please feel free to contact any of our board members at any time throughout the school year.

An election was held on 5/8/17 to fill the Treasurer and President positions.

Responsibilities

President

• Preside at all organizational and executive committee meetings.
• Perform all duties assigned by the organization or the executive board.
• Be an unofficial member of all committees except the nominating committee.
• Coordinate the work of all committees and officers.
• Be an ambassador for the PTO and for Ross Elementary Center.

Vice President

• Act as an aide to the President and perform the duties of the President in their absence.
• Help in recruiting volunteers for different activities/fundraisers.
• Participate in all activities/fundraisers sponsored by PTO.
• Regularly attend Executive Board meetings and support PTO functions.
• Be an ambassador for the PTO and for Ross Elementary Center.

Treasurer

• Maintain a full and accurate account of receipts and expenditures.
• Pay out funds as authorized by the organization.
• Present a financial report at every meeting and as requested by the executive committee.
• Regularly attend Executive Board meetings and support PTO functions.
• Be an ambassador for the PTO and for Ross Elementary Center.

Secretary

• Record the minutes of all meetings as required in the by-laws.
• Maintain a current copy of the by-laws and membership.
• Responsible for all PTO correspondence.
• Regularly attend Executive Board meetings and support PTO functions.
• Be an ambassador for the PTO and for Ross Elementary Center.
